A well-tuned toy piano your child returns to daily beats a “musical” toy that plays 30 sounds once and gets shelved. We only stock instruments where the note is actually the note printed on the key.
Volume you can live with
Loud toys ruin family evenings. Kalimbas, ukuleles, xylophones and small keyboards give real music at reasonable volume. Battery-powered toys with volume controls are our go-to for gifts.
Right-sized to little hands
Junior ukuleles, half-scale keyboards and short-handled mallets fit kids properly. Trying to play an adult-sized instrument young often kills the interest. Ask us to match by hand size at the counter.

Yes — this is the first thing we check. Xylophones and kalimbas are tuned to the notes marked on the keys. Keyboards match standard piano tuning. If it sounds off, we don't stock it.
